RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Vast majority of our customers love our products as very few people ever return what they have bought. In the two decades that we have been in business, we have less than a 3% return rate, which is quite extraordinary in this industry. In addition, most of those are due to either a “size” or a “color” conflict as opposed to a “quality” problem
Before returning your product, please follow the instructions at this page. Deviation from these instructions may prevent you from receiving a proper credit.
Most Products have a 7 – 15 Day Return with the Exception of Custom Products
Most cowhides, sheepskins, calf skins, goatskins, pillows, table runners, place mats, and coasters have a 7 day time period from the time of delivery to be returned with 100% cash back. If it has been longer than 15 days, but less than 30 days we can offer a credit towards products on our website or there will be a 25% restocking fee charged.
Disclaimer: Cowhides are animals skin that are not perfect and may have color and pattern variations (Natural Limitation) including but not limited to scars, patches, discolorations, and brands that we feel add to the authentic one of a kind feel that each and every cowhide gives.

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, you may return it within 7 days after delivery.
Restocking Fees
- You may choose for Hideorzo to provide you with a return shipping label for $29.99 or you may use your own shipping.
- Returns filed within 7 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee plus round trip shipping costs.
- Returns filed after 15 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus round trip shipping costs.
Return Authorization
All returns must be in new condition and in the original box (if possible but not required). If you do not go through the return process receiving a return authorization number, you will be charged a mandatory 15% restocking fee. Because your items may be lost in our warehouse without a return authorization fee, we take no liability for your items being lost and there is the possibility there will be no refund on your order.
Lost Orders
- If your order is lost, damaged, or arrives incorrectly, Hideorzo will exchange and replace your order with a product of the same value and style. Orders that are delivered but stolen are not the responsibility of Hideorzo
- Orders must go through a delivering agency investigation before being considered lost.
- Orders that are lost must be reported within 7 days of showing delivered from the shipping company. Please contact us to get your return authorization number.
Incorrect Items
- In the rare case of incorrect items being delivered, we will provide a free return label and offer a refund or replacement. Items must be shipped back in their original packaging. We cannot cover additional costs incurred by the customer, including but not limited to personal labor, packaging materials, handling fees, or other associated expenses.
- Actual shipping and handling costs incurred in shipping your item will be deducted from your total purchase price before issuing a credit. This applies to all orders, including orders that had “free shipping”. This also applies to packages that were either refused or not delivered because someone was not present to accept it. In addition, any Customs fees incurred on international orders that were refused or not delivered because the customer was not available, will be subtracted from the purchase price before issuing a credit.
Lastly, any items that are purchased for shows, parties or special events are not refundable.
Exchange Policy
We would love to keep you as a Hideorzo customer so in the event that your order doesn’t meet the size, color, or shape that you had desired, you may exchange your order.
- We will provide you with a return label for exchanges at no cost
- Exchanges must be made within 15 days
- Non product exchanges are subject to shipping fees.
Multiple Exchanges
Hideorzo offers free ground shipping return labels on exchanges for the first exchange of rugs only; pillows, calf hides, and goatskins are subject to round trip shipping charges. Additional exchanges will be the customer’s responsibility to pay shipping.
Refund Time
Please note it takes 10-14 business days to process your refund once the items arrive to our warehouse.
Multiple Item Returns
Labels provided at $29.99 are only for single item orders, for orders with multiple items, labels will be provided at the rate billed to Hideorzo from courier agency.
Any hide that has been cut, trimmed, altered, or used for upholstery cannot be returned or exchanged. In addition, any hide that was sent directly to an upholstery shop without being inspected by our customer cannot be returned or exchanged.
Furniture & Customized Orders
Order Cancellations
Each furniture and customized orders is uniquely made to order. As a result, all furniture and custom related sales are final and cannot be cancelled; any deposits, partial or full, are non-refundable.
Cowhide Furniture
- For custom furniture, we will pick a rug that is as close as possible to what is pictured but it will not be exact unless an exact rug is chosen and marked on your quote/invoice as such.
- You make a cowhide selection within 3 business days of placing your order or we will choose one for you.
Order Changes
Once production has begun (typically 2-3days after order is placed), we can no longer make changes to your custom order.
Color Swatches
- Items shown on our website or in person may vary in actual color because of dye lots between hides and monitor color.
- We offer free swatches of our materials that can be ordered at no cost before your order is started. If you do not order swatches to be approved, by default we will make the furniture and custom order with the closest material as possible to match the pictured item.
Damaged Items
- In the rare event that an order is damaged in transit or arrives incorrectly, we reserve the right to repair or replace the piece of furniture.
- Warranties are directly provided by the manufacturer of each product line.
Damage Noticed Upon Delivery
- If damage is discovered at the time of delivery, customers should mark “DAMAGE” on the paperwork provided from the delivery company.
- Hideorzo must be informed of any damages within 48 hours. Any damages notated after 48 hours may not be applicable for replacement or repair.
Damage Noticed After Accepting Delivery
- If damage is discovered after the furniture has been accepted and brought inside, Hideorzo should be notified within 48 hours. Any damages notated after 48 hours may not be applicable for replacement or repair.
Shipping Information
- Furniture items will be shipped with standard curbside delivery.
- If delivery is unable to be scheduled by the customer, after 7 days you will be subject to local storage fees until it is deliverable.
- If Hideorzo cannot contact you for a period that extends 30 days past the ready date of your order, any and all deposits will be forfeited.
- Furniture item(s) shipping times are estimated and may take longer due to their custom nature.
Additional Policy Information
- All items whether exchanged or returned must be authorized prior to sending and refunds will be processed only once Hideorzo receives the order in like new condition.
- Hideorzo offers free ground shipping return labels on exchanges for the first exchange of cowhide rugs only; pillows, calf hides, and goatskins are subject to round trip shipping charges. Additional exchanges will be the customer’s responsibility to pay shipping.
- Please note it takes 4-7 business days to process your refund once the items arrive at our warehouse.
- We are not responsible for pricing errors on our site.
- Items needing repair or replacement under the Hideorzo replacement plan are the customer’s responsibility to ship back to Hideorzo.

- Orders shipped with a free expedited shipping promo code will be refunded minus the actual shipping amount round trip based on this expedited amount. Exchanges on orders that use expedited shipping promo code must pay all exchange shipping prices.
- Hideorzo is not responsible for shipments lost due to incorrect addresses being given. If we receive an address change request after your order has already shipped, we will do our best to reroute your order but cannot guarantee accurate delivery. You will also be responsible for any address change fees incurred from the shipping carrier before we file the address change request.
- Hideorzo didn’t use any dye or colors and hides are in natural organic colors however, damage to person, floors, rugs, sofas, beds, or any other surfaces caused by product or color/ dye transfer from the product is not covered. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product is used in a manner that does not cause damage to any person or surface. We recommend not to machine wash or use a mop or heavy water on any of our cowhide products. Any damage caused by the product, including but not limited to color or dye transfer, is not the responsibility of Hideorzo.
Customization Flexibility
In the creation of custom furniture pieces, such as cowhide furniture that may require the use of multiple hides due to their size and unique shape, we reserve the right to exercise professional judgment in the selection and placement of materials. This includes deciding which hide to use for specific parts of the piece and how they are positioned, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and coverage. Our goal is to deliver a beautifully finished product that meets our high standards of craftsmanship and design.
Jurisdiction and venue
Any legal dispute or claim arising out of or related to the use of our ecommerce website, including but not limited to purchases, returns, or disputes, shall be resolved mutually while keeping interests of both the parties. This provision shall not prevent Hideorzo from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction, nor shall it prevent the enforcement of any judgment obtained by us in any other court or jurisdiction.
- Once an order has been fulfilled (shipped), we cannot cancel the order and any returns will be subject to our standard returns and exchanges policy.
- Orders returned or exchanged that are not in like new condition will be sent back to the sender and a refund will not be processed.
